From 2 November 2009 the passport service for British nationals in Colombia moved from Bogotá to Washington on 2 November 2009.  If you're in Colombia  and need to apply for a full UK passport, then you should apply direct to the "UK Passport Service Centre for the Americas and Caribbean", Washington D.C., USA.

The British Embassy Bogota can no longer accept full UK passport applications.
All passport applications from Colombia should now be sent by courier or registered post directly to:

The passport team in Washington aim to issue new passports within 10 working days of receiving the correct supporting documents (excluding transit time).
